More About Me
I did not come to birthwork in the manner that most doulas arrive. I did not experience a magical, un-medicated birth clad with twinkle lights, a birth pool, midwife, and doula who respected birth and believed in my spirit and body to do so... It was not until a very good friend of mine invited me into her birth experience that my eyes were opened... my heart burst in intrigue, and my spirit found its calling. I had the honor of facilitating a Blessingway for her and witnessing her care team at her home in the minutes that followed her birth. Once I felt the energy and love in that room and was made keenly aware that another way to bring our babies earth-side was available.... I wanted to be a part of THAT! Now I bring to women in my sphere of contact anything and everything that I would have loved to experience myself. It is my honor to both contribute to and witness the Rhythm, Grace, and Power of Birth!
Meet Jeanette Pirucki
Jeanette is a joy and blessing to our home and family! From the blessing way she lovingly prepared and lead for me, to the evening ritual the night my water broke, to the oils she prepped to make my birth experience sweeter, to the loving on my baby and older son - she was there holding space for me through it all. Everyone in my family loves Miss Jeanette and my husband often asks “when is Jeanette coming over.” She is an amazing doula and one of the best humans we know! Her life experiences and knowledge of birth and all things natural make her more than qualified to share her love and light as a doula. Bonus, her food is healthy and delicious! She is the real deal and delivers more than promised! You will be thankful you chose her to share the birth journey with you and your loved ones.

Jeanette has beautiful and calming energy. She embodies healing and has an ability to hold space for whatever you need support with. She is also very flexible and understanding. I had such a positive experience working with Jeanette for the birth of our first baby girl, even with an epidural. Jeanette was so attentive. She was phenomenal at looking around, seeing what I needed, and doing it. She was professional in every sense of the word and always had my best interest in mind. She brought things I didn’t even think I’d need, like honey sticks for energy and electrolyte packets for when I needed extra hydration. I found her essential oil inhalers very helpful when I was particularly nauseous. She would walk me through each potential outcome of every decision I needed to make and was a great support through contractions. She was with me every step of the way (30 hours total) and never complained once. Having her by my side took a lot of the anxiety out of the unknown for me and put my fears at ease. If you’re lucky enough to have found Jeanette, you should make it easier on yourself and just hire her.

She made herself available 24/7 for anything I needed, and it was such a relief knowing that I could trust her implicitly. My husband and I felt her one-on-one teachings were invaluable. Jeanette’s presence, support and excellent encouragement helped me to harness my power as a life-giving mother.
During my labor and birth, she was a constant voice of reason and positive reassurance. She even created the most perfect, peaceful ambiance at the birthing center--complete with twinkle lights, candles and birth affirmation cards! Throughout my labor, she helped me remain calm & embrace every contraction. She would massage tense muscles and suggest positions to ease discomfort. She was well equipped with a tens machine, peanut ball, rebozo, and so many other useful tools at her disposal to help ease labor pains. She also encouraged my husband as he supported me.
Throughout the entire process, Jeanette was a source of strength, peace, and encouragement. She kept the mood in the labor room upbeat and positive. She instinctively knew exactly what I needed so I could solely focus on leaning into birth.
With Jeanette’s help, I was able to achieve the natural birth I desired. And I swear all her tips & wisdom helped my labor progress quickly. She gave me the strength to endure without pain medication. Because she assisted in keeping me calm & focused, I had a quick, seamless, and virtually "pain-free" birth.
Shortly after bringing my baby girl into the world, Jeanette surprised me with the most magical homemade meal. It was so simple, yet so deliciously nourishing—the most incredible postpartum meal I never knew I needed! Just another example of how she anticipated my every need. Her care and attention to birthing mothers is unsurpassed. I always felt that I was the priority, and to have someone advocate for you in such an important (not to mention vulnerable) time is truly remarkable.
Jeanette is such a gift to the world and is profoundly passionate about what she does. It isn’t hard to see how much she genuinely cares, and that was evident from the get go. She has truly become family and I can’t wait to (God willing!) get pregnant again so I can have her by my side throughout the pregnancy and birth journey yet again

Jeanette was an amazing support during my birth. As my labor progressed she intuitively knew just what support measures to offer at that time. And even though my husband was present and supportive Jeanette's expertise and intuition added such an amazing (and truly needed!) layer of support to my birth. I am no novice at birth as this was my 5th unmedicated birth, but being completely supported during the labor made this my favorite birthing experience. I wish every woman could have a supported birth like mine with Jeanette as my doula!
Jeanette's intuition carried over to her postpartum care. I could say so much more about this, but need to catch some sleep while baby is sleeping. Pretty much her cooking is AMAZING, she made my long-lost -ankles reappear after her foot massage, she knew when I was overtired and simply tucked me back into bed, she rescued the day by deep cleaning my rug when newborn poop was exploding in all the wrong places, she was so natural for my family members to be with. Oh yeah, I'm supposed to be sleeping, but it's hard not to think of all the ways she was amazing and blessed me and my family.
If you want your postpartum period to be kissed by an angel, you must hire Jeanette! My son (age 5) who is generally unimpressed by most people even contributed, "Niceness. She's really kind."
